But that’s the advertising;what about reality? We believe that only by testing can we know. During testing, the TP09’s 3-stage filtration system did a fantastic job cleaning the air. In a small apartment, the TP09 reduced particulate matter (PM2.5) by 99% in just 30 minutes. And in a larger apartment with pets, the TP09 reduced pet dander by 95% in just 60 minutes. Our experts were all very impressed and highly recommend the Dyson TP09 to people with allergies or asthma or who live in places with high levels of air pollution.

Air cleaning performance/ CADR

During our product testing, we quite liked the Dyson app. MyDyson is available on the app store and also on Google Play. All the features we need and think about when using an air purifier are available on this app, such as:

Quiet operation

We must say that the Dyson TP09 is an ideal product to use in the bedroom and other areas where you want to relax. We placed the Dyson TP09 in a 100m2 room and placed the sound meter. For 1 hour, we adjusted the highest and lowest wind settings to test. During testing, even at the highest fan speed, the Dyson TP09 produced only 76 decibels of noise, equivalent to the sound of a normal conversation. When left at the lowest setting, it was barely audible. We even can hear the sound of a light fan. However, compared to current air purifiers, it is a minus point.

After a period of use, we rate the Dyson TP09 as easy to use and maintain. Its filters can be replaced quickly and easily without any tools. Alternatively, the air purifier has a clear and easy-to-read display that shows the air quality in your home as well as fan speed and current filtering settings.

Currently, the selling price of Dyson TP09 on the market is about $750 to $780, depending on marketplaces. If you buy on promotional occasions, you can even own a Dyson TP09 at a cheaper price. However, when intending to buy TP09, we think you need to consider both its electricity costs and maintenance fees. In some cases, we find that after a period of use, people start complaining about electricity and maintenance fees.
